so lotsa people wanna know how I make my lineart so smooth with a mouse. there's really no secret, I just use the pen tool. xD

I hope this helps. I learned how to use the pen tool using a few other tutorials, so some of the techniques in here might be similar to other tutorials'

enjoy. If you have any questions about this tutorial, feel free to post them and i will help you.

oh btw, this tutorial is for photoshop 7.0 and up. I dunno if it works for 6.0- DD:

edit +just like to say thanks for the DTF, comments, views, etc. I love you guys
by the way, method 2 + 3 don't work on photoshop 6 or lower
and elements doesn't have pentool. d00m

I just got CS5 not too long ago and I've been wanting to try this method for line art, but my stupid hands are shaky as hell and it's impossible for me to get smooth lines. NO LONGER! Your pen tool tut is the only one I've been able to get nice results from. Very simple to understand, thank you!}

Thanks so much for making this! I spent so long going through countless YouTube videos and "tutorials" that didn't make any sense until I found this.
P.S. I use CS3 Extended (don't ask...), and your tutorial still generally worked.
